The Mutates are former creatures that lived in the area known as the Badlands.
In the distant past, a cataclysmic magikal event caused the Badlands to be created. The magikal devastation not only altered the land, but the inhabitants, creatures and animals within.
The Mutates have an amalgamation of diverse parts, including tentacles, pincers, bulbous eyes, etc. They have no uniform appearance.
They are rarely seen and when they appear, their only seeming goal is to wreak destruction.
